Is your house in order?

Everyday presents us with fresh, new and blank pages to write our stories – what will your story be for this year?  It was Zig Ziglar who said:
The key is in understanding that when all is said and done, you must be able to answer the following question: Are you happy, healthy, and reasonably prosperous and secure, and do you have friends, peace of mind, and good family relationships?  As you examine each of these areas, let me challenge you to look at your activities and daily tasks. Do the results of the tasks you are working on yield the results you are looking for? If not, why not? If not, what are you going to do about it? These are the questions individuals who would have their names on the doors of the executive suites of tomorrow must answer.

Is your house in order?

What is that one thing that you’d like to achieve this year?  Go on, don’t be shy.  You’ve got to name it to claim it.
As I reflected on years of goals and resolutions past, I will admit that I have experienced several highs and lows.  Sometimes, I fell off the wagon before I even started.  There have also been times when I have achieved above and beyond my expectations.  The point is life will serve you lemons.  My question to you is, regardless of the lemons you are served, are you going to make lemonade? Whatever curve balls life may throw at you for this year, what are your plans to get and keep your house in order?
#NewYearNewBeginnigs
This is a new year of countless new beginnings.  Ask yourself: Is my spiritual house in order?  Is my financial house in order?  Are my family life and relationship houses in order?  If not, why not?
Simply dreaming your days away won’t get you anywhere.  At the end of the day, it boils down to mindset and action.  Start with baby steps – one step (or even half of a step) and then another and then another – even when you have no clue what the heck you’re doing.
